TOPPING Pre900
Full-Path Balanced Architecture
The Pre900 features a four-channel reference-grade amplification circuit. It is not only fully balanced, but also implements a true end-to-end differential design from input to output. Left and right channels are physically isolated to the highest degree, effectively suppressing noise and electromagnetic interference, delivering exceptionally pure, pristine sound.
Independent Power Supplies
Digital and analog circuits are powered completely independently, minimizing crosstalk at the source. Even at high dynamic output, the noise floor remains imperceptible, the background pitch-black, and every musical detail vividly alive.
0.1 dB Precision Relay Volume Control
The Pre900 uses a relay array combined with a high-precision resistor network to achieve 1,000-step volume adjustment, with each step switching smoothly and naturally. Crosstalk is kept below −150 dB, ensuring that the left and right channels remain perfectly synchronized at any volume. Throughout the entire adjustment process, only the volume changes—the tonal quality remains completely consistent.
Powerful Headroom and Pristine Signal
The Pre900 delivers an impressive output swing of up to 69 Vpp, with gain reaching 19.9 dB. Even during explosive transient peaks, it maintains ample headroom without clipping, bringing a more powerful and dynamic listening experience. With a noise floor of <0.3 μVrms*, the Pre900 can fully amplify even the most delicate signals without adding audible noise, preserving the integrity, stability, and transparency of the sound.*Actual noise level is measured by amplifying the Pre900’s noise signal by 40 dB (100×) through a noise amplifier, feeding it into an APx555B, and then dividing the measured reading by 100.

Safe Volume Mode
Set a preferred safe volume level for the Pre900. Whether during power-on or input switching, the device automatically lowers the volume to your preset safe level, protecting you from unexpected loud bursts.

The Pre900 features three sets of stereo balanced combo inputs (XLR & TRS), offering broad compatibility with professional equipment and various audio sources. All input connectors use Neutrik combo sockets for stable, reliable connections, meeting the demands of high-standard audio systems.
Focused Output for One Dedicated System
The Pre900 is equipped with only one pair of XLR balanced outputs to ensure the most optimized signal path. It also supports 12V trigger input and output, allowing it to power on and off in sync with your upstream and downstream devices for one-touch system control.

The three touch buttons on the right work seamlessly with the multi-function knob. You can also switch display modes with a single touch—playback information, FFT, or VU meter.
Infrared Remote Control
The main body of the remote control is crafted from a single block of high-strength aluminum alloy using precision CNC machining, followed by fine sandblasting for a refined finish.
