Dual Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC Architecture
UA1 II adopts a dual DAC configuration using Cirrus Logic’s proven CS43131 chips, known for their excellent measured performance and energetic, musical sound. This architecture delivers low distortion, high dynamic range, and a clean, natural tonal balance that reflects Shanling’s long-standing tuning philosophy.
Every UA1 II undergoes both rigorous laboratory testing and subjective listening evaluation by experienced audiophiles to ensure consistent, high-quality sound.
3.5mm & 4.4mm Dual Outputs with Enhanced Power
Equipped with both single-ended and balanced headphone outputs, UA1 II is the most powerful UA-series dongle to date. With up to 240mW @ 32Ω from the 4.4mm balanced output, it comfortably drives sensitive IEMs as well as many full-size headphones, delivering strong dynamics and excellent control across the frequency range.
Integrated Display & On-Device Controls
A distinctive dual-window design places functionality at the forefront. The front window houses a 0.96-inch LCD screen, while the rear window offers a glimpse into the internal DAC architecture.
Hidden beneath the windows are four tactile buttons, allowing direct control of volume, playback, and on-DAC settings—no app required.
UAC 1.0 Mode for Gaming & Legacy Devices
Switching to UAC 1.0 mode enables seamless compatibility with gaming consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, as well as older or power-limited devices. This mode ensures stable audio output with low latency, making UA1 II a versatile choice for both music and gaming.
Compact Design with Universal USB-C Connectivity
UA1 II connects via USB-C and includes a high-purity copper USB-C cable for broad compatibility with smartphones, tablets, and computers. Thanks to the universal connector, users can easily switch to alternative cables, longer lengths, or premium audiophile upgrades to suit different use cases.
