TANCHJIM KASIER
DMT 5 Dual-Cavity & PURE BA Drivers
The acoustic system features a 10mm DMT 5 dual-cavity dynamic driver purpose-built for bass, paired with four TANCHJIM-developed PURE Series balanced armature drivers (2 mid + 2 high). The dynamic driver uses a narrow magnetic gap, high-flux magnetic circuit, and a long-excursion diaphragm to deliver deep-reaching bass with solid weight and clearly defined layers. For the BA drivers, strict control over armature positioning and coil winding minimizes variations in electroacoustic performance, reducing nonlinear distortion and improving transduction performance.
3-Way Crossover & FEA-Optimized Design
KASIER uses a high-precision three-way crossover that combines acoustic tubing with an analog filter network. Frequency division is defined not only by the electrical circuit, but also by the acoustic path of each driver. Driver response, tube acoustics, and the crossover network are tuned together as one system. Using finite element analysis (FEA), TANCHJIM modeled and refined sound-tube angles, acoustic paths, and acoustic impedance to preserve the intended acoustic filtering, reduce transmission loss, and align each acoustic path precisely with its assigned frequency range.
Transparent Window & Precision Shell
KASIER continues KARA's design language with a clear shell, a silver-toned faceplate, and a subtle blue accent. The transparent window reveals the internal layout, making the wiring and crossover board part of the visual design. Its high-precision DLP-printed medical-grade resin shell is engineered to balance resilience and rigidity. Precisely defined PCBA mounting points and component positions keep the internal routing consistent, improving assembly consistency and ensuring the internal layout is reproduced accurately throughout production.
B&K 5128 Target Tuning
KASIER's overall frequency response is tuned using B&K 5128 measurements and the B&K in-room target curve. The tuning focuses on natural reproduction, balancing the full frequency range while preserving clarity and fine detail in the treble. Treble detail is about more than brightness; KASIER brings out the overtones of instruments, the texture of cymbals, and the depth and spatial cues captured in the recording. Natural tonality forms the foundation, complemented by clean, clearly defined treble for an engaging and fatigue-free listening experience.
Premium Cable & T500 Eartips
KASIER comes standard with a low-resistance cable made using high-purity silver-plated copper conductors in a tightly braided Litz structure. Its 4.4mm balanced plug connects directly to compatible portable headphone amplifiers, digital audio players, and desktop audio equipment, so no additional cable is required out of the box. It also includes the well-received T500 Treble and Bass eartips, featuring a flexible stem that tilts to follow the ear canal angle, a soft dome for comfort, and a firmer inner structure with a built-in waveguide for a consistent seal.
