The S.M.S.L x MOONDROP DHA 15 features a fully balanced discrete Class A amplifier, delivering 15W+15W into 16Ω and 7.5W+7.5W into 32Ω. It effortlessly drives low-sensitivity planar magnetic headphones and dynamic models, ensuring uncompromised dynamics.
Dual CS43198 Flagship DAC Hardware Decoding
Two Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips, paired with a custom MOONDROP control chip, enable hardware decoding of PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD256. This delivers exceptional resolution, rich detail, and natural tonal balance.
2nd Generation Online Interactive DSP
Access MOONDROP’s second-generation online interactive DSP via a web tuning tool on Microsoft Edge (version 135.0 or later) or Google Chrome (version 131.0 or later). Adjust parametric EQ—filter type, frequency, gain, and Q value—with a professional visual interface and a built-in headphone database.
Built-in Tune Sharing and Downloading Community
Upload your own tuning configurations or download optimizations created by other users. Apply them directly to the DHA 15 hardware. Correct timbre defects, optimize for different genres, and expand the playability of your headphones.
One-Click Auto EQ and App Support
Customize the DHA 15 via the MOONDROP app. The one-click Auto EQ feature lets you select an original frequency curve and a target response for instant adjustments. (Note: iOS devices require an Android device for writing EQ settings.)
Precision Volume Control and Multiple Gain Stages
The DHA 15 offers 99-step precision volume control and three gain settings. Low gain is optimized for sensitive IEMs, while medium and high gains match portable headphones and full-size planar magnetic models seamlessly.
Versatile Connectivity and Desktop Integration
Beyond USB-C, the DHA 15 provides dual 3-pin XLR and dual RCA inputs. It functions as a preamplifier, pure amplifier, or pure DAC. Outputs include 4.4mm balanced, 6.35mm, and 4-pin XLR, plus pre-amp outputs.
Exceptional Measured Performance
With a high-efficiency, low-noise power supply and surge protection, the DHA 15 achieves 131dB dynamic range and SNR, and THD+N as low as 0.00007% (-122dB) at 1kHz, 32Ω. Measured with Audio Precision APx555, it is exceptionally clean.
