Custom Dynamic + Planar Driver Configuration
At its core, Sonus II pairs a custom dynamic driver with a custom high-frequency planar driver. The dynamic driver uses a custom diaphragm, an N52 magnet, and a large black voice coil to carry the low end, while the planar driver handles treble layering and extension. A triple sound-control system — acoustic steel mesh, tuning cloth, and acoustic foam — keeps airflow stable and driver transitions smooth, ensuring low-end weight supports modern productions without burying vocals.

The high-purity silver-plated OFC cable, braided from 196 strands across 4 strands, uses a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin socket, offering an easy upgrade path for future cable rolling.
